Stacked 'n' packed SCORE/Voluptuous legend Via Paxton
Via was 44-28-38, 5'8", 142 lbs. and wore a 38E bra in 1999 when SCORE first photographed her in Florida. She would become the covergirl of the September '99 issues of SCORE and V-mag, a rare achievement. Double covers in the same month don't happen often.
Via's story began in Chicago, Illinois. She was browsing in a Barnes & Noble bookshop when a SCORE reader saw her. Most guys would have admired her from a distance, but C.S. walked over to her. They started talking and he eventually asked her if she modeled and whether she'd be interested.
Via worked for a courier company at the time and had never modeled. C.S. managed to meet her later on, an impressive feat in itself, and take some photographs that he mailed to SCORE publisher John Fox, a man with decades of experience in big-bust magazine production. John immediately offered Via her first gig, to be shot in Florida. Via accepted, and that was the start of a legend. She was a smash hit when her pictures hit magazine racks. A video, A Day With Via Paxton, soon followed.
Reader mail poured in. Back then, readers wrote lengthy letters on paper and put them in envelopes with stamps on them, unlike today's one-line comments over the Net. I remember one letter from a guy who wrote, "She's like Mariah Carey with tits." Which reminded me of a quote by Yogi Berra: "Never answer an anonymous letter." Actually, there is a resemblance.
This video was shot in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at the end of May 2000 shortly after the Boob Cruise returned from its final sailing. Peter, the photographer and the only man to photograph Via (she only modeled for SCORE), talked to me about that trip when they returned from Mexico.
"You should have seen the commotion when Via first arrived at the hotel. Not as chaotic as when we travel with a large group of girls during the Boob Cruise, but still, the same fireworks. All of the guys who worked at the resort couldn't take their eyes off her and her boobs. They made a lot of comments but nothing nasty. We understood Spanish. Basically it was stuff like, 'God, I'd love to take her home with me.' Things like that. All the bellboys and the front-desk clerks were going nuts."
Peter added, "She's still all new to everything, to the world of modeling, unlike other models who work as dancers and video performers. I think she's one of our greatest finds and not just because of her breast power."
For a man who photographed a few thousand girls during his career to say that shows how impressive Via was and why she's now a legend. I only wish we had made more videos of her!
